THE JOB
Solid Ground is a creative placemaking and property marketing agency located in Manchester city centre. Our
mission is to be the go-to place for property developers who want to turn new or unloved places into vibrant
destinations. The company champions a can-do attitude, our team are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate.
Our new Marketing Exec needs to be a creative and organised thinker, who likes a fast-paced work environment and
wants to get stuck-in to great projects in London and the North West.
This is a varied and diverse role that will require you to take ownership of the success of a number of sites across the
UK, working towards establishing them as ‘must-visit’ destinations for the public and commercially viable sites for our
clients. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and Operations Director at Solid Ground.

key responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing multi-channel marketing and event campaigns
  • Managing the conception, coordination and delivery of a range of events
  • Procuring and managing external suppliers
  • Writing copy and curating content for social media, e-newsletters and websites
  • Defining and maintaining the tone of voice and brand identity of individual assets
  • Managing relationships and regular communications with local stakeholders and commercial tenants
  • Writing briefs for design, media and photography
  • Drafting press releases
  • Managing budgets for campaigns
  • Managing venue hire enquiries and meeting external event and pop-up organisers for site visits
  • Collating event documentation from external suppliers
  • On the day coordination of events
  • Creating reports and evaluating campaigns

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Essential

  • Educated to degree level in Marketing, English or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Professional experience working with CMS, Mailchimp and social media management software
  • Excellent communication and copy writing skills
  • Flawless spelling, punctuation and grammar
  • Confident administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Social media and trend savvy
  • Creative thinker with a good eye for design
  • Excellent team player
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work on own initiative
  • Proactive and can-do attitude, even when working under pressure

Desirable

  • Adobe Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator
  • Photography skills
  • Full, clean UK driving license
