The Untold History Trail will work with local historians and students at The University of Salford, to guide residents and visitors through a sequence of sites and narratives that reflect Crescent Salford’s past, from its industrial heritage to the people and places that have shaped its identity. The trail is due to launch in spring 2026.

Untold History’s approach focuses on research-led storytelling, bringing lesser-told stories into public view and connecting them to key Salford landmarks. Alongside physical markers and interpretive content, the trail will be supported by digital resources to enhance accessibility and engagement.
