Women’s History Month at Courage Yard
An interactive installation by Untold History

Courage Yard partnered up with Untold History to create an installation that shone a light on the remarkable women connected to Courage Yard, Shad Thames and the wider area. The aim was to engage with visitors, spark curiosity and create space for local stories that are often overlooked.

We created a series of QR-coded floor designs, placed throughout Courage Yard, each one unlocking the story of a woman who helped shape the city. From trailblazers in politics and activism, to creatives and community leaders. Visitors could scan the codes to discover these powerful histories and delve deeper into the Untold History platform.

Dates delivered:

March 2025

Location:

Courage Yard, London

Event:

Women’s History Month

The result?

A meaningful activation that blended education with interaction, inviting people to slow down, explore the space and engage with stories that matter. The QR codes saw strong engagement, with many visitors spending more time in the area and on the site – reinforcing Courage Yard’s role as a destination rooted in culture and community.

At Solid Ground, we craft marketing strategies that resonate, inspire, and endure.
